T and T Round Dance Club News

November 6, 2007

Here we are once again coming to the end of another year with Xmas just around the comer, where has the year gone. This year we are having our Xmas luncheon on Sunday 25th November at the Walkers Arms followed by a dance at the Chandelier. If you would like to come to our dinner you do need to book with me. All will be welcome to the dance after the lunch. With the SARDA dance being held on Saturday 15th Dec our last Thursday dance will be on the 13th. We must say Happy Birthday to Jeffrey who celebrated his big 75thlast month. Our Learners Class dancers are still very keen and are Waltzing along with their Rumba Cha & a little Two Step not bad for 14 weeks. I must say Kay, who came along to learn the mans part, is doing really well. Hopefully some will have attended their first SARDA dance held in October. Some are coming along Sunday afternoons for a brush up on what they learnt on Friday. Sunday our new 12 O'Clockers are being pushed along at a steady rate and are coping quite well with the new dances they are learning adding Quickstep, Bolero Tango and a little Jive. Congratulations.

On Thursdays we are doing quite a bit of revision on some of the older dances, with so many over the years, a lot don't get danced very often and need to be revised, along with newer dances presented, such as the Onedine Waltz, a Phase 6 Waltz. We have missed Isabel lately who unfortunately has been on the sick list. We hope you will be well soon.

All for now Thelma
